We offer a low cost Spay/Neuter Service for Dogs and Cats for the folks of Ashtabula County.

We call our program
“Ashtabula Low Cost Spay Neuter”

We no longer operate a shelter or take in or adopt Cats and Kittens but our organization is focused entirely on helping folks get their animals fixed. We are a 501 (C) (3) Public Charity founded in 2001 and is all volunteer.

We urge all pet owners to have their companion animals fixed.
This will insure the health and well being of your pet as well as making a more loving pet.
Anyone that can afford to have their animal fixed by a local vet is the way to go.
Our Spay/Neuter service is provided by a net work of vets.
Our program is for those who cannot afford the services of a local vet and that is the program we offer as outlined below.

The program is four parts.

CAN AFFORD TO PAY

People that qualify* and CAN AFFORD to pay the reduced rate can have their companion animals fixed and given vaccinations for rabies and distemper or parvo.

CAN’T AFFORD THE TOTAL PRICE

Folks that qualify* but CAN’T AFFORD THE TOTAL PRICE of the surgery and vaccines will be able to have the remaining cost of the service paid for by us.

CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY ANY OF THE COST

People that qualify* and need to have their companion animal altered and CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY ANY OF THE COST for service of alteration and vaccines will have it paid for by us.

FERAL FRIENDS NETWORK

We also give information on how to trap feral and stray cats and where to get them altered. We loan humane traps for folks that have back yard colonies that could not otherwise be able to control this problem. This is a program called TNR, Trap, Neuter, Return. This is the same program outlined by Alley Cat Allies and we have been a member of their Feral Friends Network helping people for over 15 years.

Please call to see if this program is for you. We have helped several thousand people in Ashtabula County over the years thru this program.
